Mission Trip: Armenia

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus!

As many of you might know a war has broken out in the Nagorno-Karabakh region between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The war has started up so quickly that many people have had to flee, becoming refugees seemingly overnight. Forced to leave their homes with only the clothes on their backs, no one could have imagined the Azerbaijanis would come upon them so quickly.

Tens of thousands of Christian Armenians are in need of shelter, warm clothes, and food; so ReBridge took the the call to go and help the many in Armenia who are now so desperate. We are in full preparation mode for the trip in early November, just a few weeks away.

We have been in contact with a several Armenian brothers and sisters who are being the hands and feet of Jesus, coming alongside the many refugees who suddenly found themselves in a dire situation without the security of their homes, jobs, routines, friends and family which just a moment ago was maybe not dissimilar from our own situation. This is devastating news considering the intensity of the Armenian winter is just around the corner!

Our founder Kalim Andraos remembers these kind of tragedies during the Civil War of the 1980's in Lebanon, which also explains his heart to help these people.

The Armenian church has stepped up, hosting many of these refugees, but unfortunately resources are running low. They need our prayers and our help, now is the time!

Would you please consider helping our Brothers and Sisters?
